Riddle 2: strong> What do Cambodians do with scooters and trucks full of mattresses that we see everyday on the road?
Answer: strong> We do not know. In any case we have not noticed yet over-consumption of mattresses in Cambodia.
These are the kind of questions that often arises on the road. To make us forget the hundred of kilometers cycled today. Fortunately few tendonitis are there to remind us the land, thank you!
We spent several days in Battambang: for a large city it is rather pleasant surroundings reserve to beautiful walks, and other less funny but impressive as the cave in which the Khmer Rouge committed massacres, which allows us to remember that here almost every person has family members who were exterminated only a few decades ago.
More fun: so we had time to spend a few hours in the School of Arts and Circus PHARE to meet stakeholders, to see the students work and record a few things that you will hear a day if you are wise! We had already seen PHARE students performing at National Circus in Vientiane in Laos and we were very impressed … Driss could try juggling and make friends, we’re suddenly going to see an absolutely fantastic evening show of the school, we all loved it!
Today as said before we hit the road for a little over 100 km to Phnom Penh we should reach in a few days.
